Chelsea Reilly signs with Saucony
After running professionally without a shoe contract for over a year, Chelsea Reilly has officially inked a deal with Saucony through the 2016 Summer Olympic Games in Rio De Janeiro.

"I believe that we are going to have a top-notch partnership. Everyone that I’ve met at Saucony has been welcoming and supportive of my dream: to become a world-class athlete," Reilly wrote on her blog. "I believe in doing things the right way and Saucony is right there with me."

Reilly is coming off a 2013 year in which she set personal bests in the 1,500-meter run (4:08.77); road mile (4:31); 3,000-meter run (8:47.34); 5,000-meter run (15:10.14) and 15,000-meter (51:01).

She is represented by Ray Flynn and Flynn Sports Management. Her website lists Bay Area Track Club and Elliptigo as other supporters since graduating from California-Berkley. As a Golden Bear, Reilly suffered six stress fractures throughout her collegiate career.

Before the U.S. Outdoor Track and Field Championships in June, site head Mitch Kastoff caught up with Reilly to discuss her transition into the professional ranks and not being sponsored.
