Leo Manzano Signs With Hoka One One

The 2012 Olympic silver medalist finally has a sponsor. Leo Manzano has signed a multi-year contract with shoe company Hoka One One, a
ccording to Running Times. This contract will run through the upcoming 2016 Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.

After being sponsor-less for over a year, Manzano will no longer wear a blank singlet at any upcoming races. Along with Manzano, Hoka One One signed 800m star Mike Rutt of the New Jersey-New York Track Club in December. Rutt had a solid indoor season and anchored the second place team in the world-record setting 4x800-meter relay race at the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix. Our own Mitch Kastoff, interviewed Mike just a few months ago.

Manzano showed signs of his old form at the Texas Relays, where he won the 800m in 1:47.34. After a rough 2013 campaign, many doubted the form of "Leo the Lion." He looks to respond with a stand-out 2014 year.

He will make his debut for Hoka One One at the Boston Athletic Association's Invitational Mile on April 19.

Hear from the silver medalist himself in this video released by Hoka One One.
