Six-time 800m Division II champion Drew Windle is headed west to Seattle to train under coach Danny Mackey. The 22-year-old graduated from Ashland University this past spring and has been one of the most dominant mid distance forces in division II since he was a sophomore. His PR of 1:46.52 came from his 2014 indoor season, and has won every 800m indoor and outdoor championship since 2013. Windle will join the likes of Nick Symmonds, Cas Loxsom, and Riley Masters as a part of the Beasts. Loxsom and Symmonds recently both qualified for the World Championships in Bejing.
