The Women's 100 Final Is Going to Be Fast As Hell (And The Men's Too)
Before today, only Florence Griffith-Joyner had gone faster than 10.78 at the Olympic Trials. In today's semifinals--with a healthy wind--Tori Bowie and English Gardner ran 10.74, and Tianna Bartoletta ran 10.79.

Gardner will be joined in the final by fellow Oregon alum Jenna Prandini and current Duck Ariana Washington. Morolake Akinosun, Barbara Pierre, and Tiffany Townsend snagged the last three spots in the final. With hot temps and favorable winds, the final at 5:44 Pacific time is going to be extremely fast.

The men's 100 semis were just as ridiculous. Justin Gatlin and Trayvon Bromell ran the Nos. 3 and 4 all-time 100s in Trials history. Gatlin won his semi in 9.83, and Bromell ran 9.86 to win his semi. They'll be joined in the final by Christian Coleman, Tyson Gay, Mike Rodgers, Marvin Bracy, Jarrion Lawson, and Dentarius Locke.
