While there is still plenty of uncertainty about how NCAA sports will look in the 2020-2021 school year, several big names are making changes in anticipation of a return to competition. Here is a running list of transfer news.

Fiona O’Keeffe To New Mexico

The eight-time All-American from Stanford has decided to complete her remaining track eligibility in Albuquerque for the Lobos. O’Keeffe was third in the 5000m at the 2019 NCAA Indoor Championships, her highest placing at an NCAA championship. O’Keeffe’s sister, Olivia, is a sophomore for New Mexico.

Thomas Ratcliffe Is In The Transfer Portal

Stanford’s Thomas Ratcliffe is in the transfer portal, but his destination is not yet known. Ratcliffe was third at the NCAA Outdoor Championships last spring in the 5000m and had a string of solid races during the cross country season. He competed once during the indoor season--running 4:00.04 in the miles.

Hannah Steelman To NC State

Steelman comes from Wofford to join an NC State women's team bursting with potential. At Wofford, Steelman was 23rd at the NCAA Cross Country Championships. On the track, she was third in the steeplechase and eighth in the 5000m in 2019.

Robert Brandt To Georgetown

Brandt, who has run for Cal and UCLA, will finish his career at Georgetown. Brandt was injured at the end of the cross country season, but was stellar on the track in 2019. He placed 7th in the 10,000m and 9th in the 5000m at the NCAA Outdoor Championships.

Elijah Armstrong To BYU

Armstrong won two Mountain West Conference championships at Boise State and has a 5000m personal best 13:58.
