there is no tie-breaker until Regionals. A tie is a tie until then. But, if there was a tie breaker, in the NCAA the tie breaker is head-to-head for #1-5, so FSU wins the tie breaker 3-2 (FSU #1 beats Prin. #1, FSU #2 beats Princeton #2, FSU #3 beats Princeton #3, Princeton #4 beats FSU #4, Princeton #5 beats FSU #5) |

So, why is FSU the winner? The tie-breaker is the #1 runner? Since when? What ever happened to the #6 and #7 runners being the tie-breakers. Princeton had 6 in before FSU's 5th. and they had 7 in before FSU's 6th. THAT's the better team...Princeton. FSU has the better individual, but the better overall team is Princeton. Why did the tie-breaker become the #1 runner? the 6th and 7th runners should be more important that displacers. Not cool. |
