Unfortunately we weren't able to see German compete this past weekend at NCAAs as he gets ready for World Cross, but we were able to round up the video of his 3:55.02 collegiate record setting mile. Its pretty amazing to watch him do this all alone! With this performance German also broke his own Junior World Record in the mile that he set earlier in the year (Video of 3:56).Congrats to German and Coach Dave Smith, we look forward to seeing them on the track this spring!

TANNER...TAKE A CHILL-PILL. IF THE PERSON TAKING THE MOVIE DIDN'T LIKE RUNNING, THAN IT WOULD HAVE BEEN SMOOTH AND STEADY.
THIS PERSON TAKING THE MOVIE OF GERMAN'S MILE RACE GOT A LITTLE EXCITED AND THE CAMERA WAS ALL OVER THE PLACE.
I DON'T MIND THE KID'S YELLING AND CHEERING; GET'S ME MORE INTO THE RACE.

that makes absolutely no sense topper harley..obviously i person would not be watching the meet if he didnt like running...be happy that we get an amazing video such as this one

because...
Smith graduated from Michigan State in 1993 with a degree in fisheries and wildlife, and continued his education at the University of Washington, where he earned a Ph.D. in pharmacology in 2000.
His coach has a PHD in PHARMACOLOGY. ( from OSU BIO)
the sky is the limit for our German,

Loads super fast for me. Sounds like your internet connection is the source of the problem. That, or you're using older versions of IE and not Firefox -- could be a number of things. Every video on the entire site is exactly the same format, outside of a few that explicitly say they aren't.
