Check out the last two laps of the Men's DMR. We're allowed 3mins of highlights and here's about half of it. I'll try to get some more up tomorrow.

i agree, f*** ESPN and the interviews. It's the races that we want. NCAA is killing the sport with these restrictive rules on rebroadcasting. Are there any pirates out there that can rip the feed and post using Tor or something?

Also I love Galen's love of Oregon track, it is inspiring to see

I say if ESPN has the rights to it they should show it on tv or give up the rights as some kind of charity. I am sure they can spare the money.

What's with the live results not working. Do they even want to take away our right to see those? Or do we need to pay for ESPN broadband in order to access them too? They are trying to kill track and their fans.

I agree with AL Flotrack does a great job at what ESPN wont do. Keep it up Flotrack.

If you want to watch the whole thing (plus Rupp's 5k, the women's DMR, Kipyego, etc.) go to http://www.espn360.com, sign up, watch the replay, and stop complaining.

Flotrack is terrific for what it does, and is great for interviews, background, depth of coverage for events ESPN doesn't cover and all the fun quirky stuff, but it's just dumb to complain that Flotrack didn't buy the rights to show a NCAA championship or hire a professional video crew.

i'll take ESPN video over some guys camcorder any day. coverage was great last night, too bad u guys missed it.

dang espn 3 years ago

this sucks. i'm in ireland and i dont think espn allow us in europe to see the ncaa's. terrible really, they want us to pay 9.99euro for a basic package. god how i hate politics.

You guys don't get it...the difference between Flotrack & ESPN is that ESPN is the rightsholder to the NCAA indoor meet, and paid a lot of money for the rights to televise the meet, and other NCAA sports championships (as yamobethere said, the NCAA indoors was part of a package deal the NCAA sold ESPN...ESPN had to take this meet in order to get the rights to televise the NCAA Women's Final Four, and the College World Series, which is where they'll recoup their money).

Flotrack only is considered credentialed media. On the back of every credential are terms of usage, that includes what you are allowed to do, and it specifically states that non-rightsholders are allowed to broadcast up to 3 minutes of race footage, period!
If you want to watch the meet, go to espn360.com or wait for the replay on March 23rd.

I guess they really want to kill track and field with only 3 minutes of highlights allowed for the whole day. Well done ESPN. It would be nice if they archived the races for veiwing online.

Alex Ciesielski 3 years ago

you have to have internet connection through espn 360. I just tried...

and Coes' jersey is butt ugly

Steve B 3 years ago

Guys-

ESPN360 has over 2 hours of yesterday's meet.
im currently watching the mens 5000 and i just watched sally's 5k.
they have the races in full length. just go to espn360.com then "replay" and NCAA championships

"Excoose me, Mista Rupp, but I just wanted to say... the back of yo head look...RIDICILOUS!"

HIS KICK IS EVEN MORE RIDICULOUS!

T&F Fan 3 years ago

i cant afford ESPN anyways. Flotrack is the true speaker of T&F;we all know ESPN only cares about BBall and Football. And of course, making a PROFIT!

Terry Carlton 3 years ago

You can watch the replay of yesterday's ESPN 2 hour telecast of the 5Ks, 200s, and DMRs on ESPN360. I've tried downloading the video clip but haven't been successful saving it.

3 mins for the whole day
that is insane all espn cares about is basketball and football they should let us see the entire race

blah 3 years ago

nobody wants to watch 5 million interviews, we want to watch this stuff

Jeff Wood 3 years ago

WTF on two heats? and screw ESPN.

No Name 3 years ago

Hear what Rupp says at the end? "Were back in it" Oregon must have been pissed about the mile and 5k.
