Pretty sure Bucky has a few connections of his own. Lets not forget he was doing an outstanding job coaching at UNI for the past 20ish years. Perhaps the Romans just have a more sportsman-like spirit and wanted to see this young lad qualify for Worlds. |

Quick question. How did Dorian Ulrey get into the Rome Golden Gala. I know he's good. Most other US fans know he's good. But my bet is the Europeans, including meet directors, don't know who he is. So, how does a kid with a 3:39 pr get into the Rome Golden Gala? |

Well after being "uninvited" to the meet in Eugene, he had to scramble to Rome with one day's rest before his race. He was lucky he even had a room! It had nothing to do with Reebok and everything to do with a bed to sleep on, I am sure. |
