Alberto Salazar has taken on some talented athletes over the past few years, but many of them have come to him in a point in their career where they have experienced a plateau or are looking for a change. He has been able to help many of them get out of a rutt and surge to new heights in their careers. Alberto talks about what the athletes are looking for and what is common when coming to him. He talks about their group and the expectations that come with being with the crew in Portland.

Very interesting interview...i think the interviewer should be more prepared with questions instead of trying to think on the spot especially when having asked for time out of a person's schedule. honestly, not trying to be mean just some constructive criticism |

I don't think Salazar "gave away Galens weakness". He was talking about the past, and I bet it had to do with high school and his first couple years at Oregon. |

So Alberto just gave away Galen's psychological weakness to all of his competitors? Or was that a made-up weakness to throw them off? |

in the spirit of alberto's nike building that's named after himself, maybe flotrack can name their new office with somebody's name, you all could have a race and whoever in the office wins gets the office named after him or her |

'That's the goal'. Awesome, within reason, my coach makes ballzy statements like that too, it always gets me fired up. They can do it. I hope to see a north amaerican on the podium 2012 and have no qualms if its someone from the US nike project. Awesome. |
