Wait a minute. Look at Pete Magill's singlet at this past year's USATF Cross Country Championships? http://www.masterstrack.com/gallery/main.php?g2_itemId=47391 Doesn't that count? The logo runs the length of the shirt! What gives?

I'm about as Left Wing as anyone I know, but this video makes me much more sympathetic to my "small government" Conservative and Libertarian friends.

ps: WRT Nike: Big Corps get to do whatever the F%$# they want. Haven't we at least learned that over the past ten or twenty years?

Glad you kept with it and didn't give up! The original design and all your redesigns are pretty awesome!

Didn't USATF just remove the logo restrictions like a week or 2 ago?

Nike owns USATF and thus can do whatever they please. Remember the blimp incident at these past trials? Nike apparently owns the air space above hayward field too.

Does anyone remember the Nike jerseys from the '08 Olympic trials? How'd those pass USATF regulation?

Holy Unnecessary Regulations, Batman!

This is absolute nonsense and USATF should be embarrassed. Their choke hold on the sport is an annoyance so pervasive that it stifles any desire from any new corporate involvement. Their business model is doomed and they do an excellent job of teaching through example of how not to promote and strengthen demand. It is no wonder why this sport is barely clinging to life in the U.S.

Good Grief.

Great video, basically, no singlets are allowed to be cool. That's pretty lame.

Come on! Who says USATF doesn't have a sense of humor?

You should've suggested a coin toss to decide whether or not the original design (or even revision) was permissible. That's how USATF rolls, isn't it?
