I couldn't agree with Living Vicariously more. The NBC coverage of the overall event was terrible. The amount of blog and racing internet site commentary that went up both during and after the Grand Prix is a testament to that. 100s of comments all resoundingly negative about NBC's coverage. Pleaseeeeeee, take a few $$ less next time and do a deal with a broadcast entity that actually knows something about track & field and, more specifically, truly appreciates the sport. NBC's "coverage" was, instead, a testament only to advertising time and showed a real disregard for the sport and those that really follow it.

Congrats to all these awesome kids on their huge achievements.

I can't imagine how pissed the Adidas Golden promoters should be at NBC right now. In order to provide COMPLETE coverage of all the men's 100 false starts and provide golf updates, only the last moments of the dream mile could be shown on NBC. Adidas, thanks for putting on such an incredible event for the development of these High Schoolers. You are truly to be commended and supported. I will definitely be purchasing more Adidas stuff with this in mind. Next time, DONâT LET NBC HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH IT and all your efforts might actually be shown to the world.
