After a hard fought win at Heps days before before, the #9 ranked Tigers do a neighborhood progression run just outside of campus. The men pick up the pace as they complete each 1.4 mile loop. After resting their #3 and their #2 being coming back from illness, this Ivy league squad is looking to make some noise in Terre Haute.

whats the song at the end of the video in the locker room?

wow 6 months ago

Don's time for 8.64 miles would be an all-out effort for a 29:54 10k guy. Damn!

Anonymous Coward 6 months ago

Everyone's dying at the end? Cabral was chatting half way through his last lap.

Bystander 6 months ago

The loop is actually 1.44 miles, which makes the paces correct.

I can do math 6 months ago

all the paces stated in the video are a lot faster than what they actually are, if the loop is 1.4 miles, 7:00 for the 1.4 mile loop is exactly 5:00 pace per mile and the total time for donn 42:28 is right around 503 pace

I don't know much about this team but I don't get a sense of 'high strung.' They seem like a quietly confident bunch that can really run. I didn't even know of their other guys besides Cabral and Leung, but I guess I can see why they are a top 10 team.

Anonymous Coward 6 months ago

Looks they cranked down to faster than tempo. Maybe thats what makes it a 'Progressive Run' instead of a 'Tempo.'

Anonymous Coward 6 months ago

How is it threshold when everyone id dying at end? Looks more like a team that needs constant good news to feel confident ...... hign strung Ivies!

Anonymous Coward 6 months ago

I like how it seemed like don was getting pwned by that workout. real good 'tempo' work.

hahahhaahh 6 months ago

Typo with a 4 instead of a 5...7:00 = 4:51...6:45 = 4:41

Whuh 6 months ago

At 3:00 and at 4:20, it says the paces for 7:00 and 6:45 are both 4:41...

dubstep is some weak sauce

Respect 6 months ago

Much respect to DC for his comment during the last one. That's dedication.

That's a pretty hard workout and very impressive for the Tigers. If they can just translate the average pace in this workout (over 7.2 miles and 8.6 for Donn!) out to Terre Haute on Nov. 21, they'll be way way higher than 9th.

Great song choice. I see you Peter Maag!

The Song is
I Know The Truth - Pretty Lights

same old 6 months ago

I love how people always ask what Dub song it is... They all sound like a Transformer taking a dump. Every single one of them. I used to play this stuff all the time on my Commodore 64 years and years ago when I was 7. lol

Princeton (and Columbia) gets more than their fair share of coverage.

With that in mind, dope workout, dope music. Got some chills.

NCAA runner 6 months ago

Princeton is not a "lesser" team-they're ranked 9th in the country.

BassGod 6 months ago

The song is called "I Know The Truth" by Pretty Lights
