Shalane Flanagan talks to us about her training towards the 2012 Olympic Trials Marathon in Houston. Shalane is still new to the event as she has only run one marathon (NYC). Shalane gives us some insight to workouts, lessons learned and workouts during this training cycle....and she gives her thoughts towards some of the race's biggest names.

Today, Shalane Flanagan and Kara Goucher ran the Latin Music Miami Beach Half Marathon. Flanagan ran 1:09:58 to win the women's division in the race and was fourth overall. Goucher ran 1:12:59 as she finish as the second women and fifth in the race overall. Teammate Simon Bairu won overall in 1:05:38. 34 days to Houston....
