The men's 8k at the 2011 Ivy League/Heps Cross Country Championships, hosted in West Windsor Fields by Princeton University, was home to some of the coldest conditions in the United States this past weekend. The Princeton men defended their title at home over holding off a good Columbia squad while Dartmouth's Ethan Shaw and Columbia's Kyle Merber battle to the line for the individual title.

Some of those boys were red as lobsters. Great effort and great video. |

Really, we just watched the ballsiest conference championship race this year, in crazy cross-country conditions, with some great athletes and some great teams in the race, and you guys turned it into a "whose course had more snow" / "Who is more Real Maine" contest? Come on guys, respect all, fear none, and enjoy some good XC! |

Those are perhaps the worst race conditions I've ever seen. I suppose the course could have been worse, but damn, rain to sleet to snow is nuts. |

Looks like someone has some latent inferiority problems. Did you know Merber had hypothermia? Real Maine Real Tough. You're probably one of the dlll scrubs everyone is bashing on here. GTFO troll. Harp on ethan... whatever his name is because he's done nothing of real significance like break four or hold national records and isn't really really good looking. |

Jason, almost all the kids at these schools are on financial aid. No one gets rejected from the Ivy League for not having enough money.Yes, I know, I just felt like being a . What else can you insult the Ivy League for besides being wealthy haha. |

Jason, your also in a conference that doesnt have the some of the best athletes in the country. For D1 athletes to beast through those conditions says a lot more then some scrubs making it through bad weather. And Ivy League is only alright on the National level. They're not top tier. They have some standouts, but I would not put money on them or any of their athletes. No offense to any, but they're are some top dogs out there, and they're not in the Ivys. |

I'm sorry, did I not have enough money as the athletes in the video to be considered as worthy? |

"get real"- Jason was just pointing out some other meets that had some really bad weather this weekend. And DIII scrubs? Yeah..some. But DIII athletes run everyday and have to endure the same crappy weather without fancy warmups, new shoes, and embroidered bags. They run because they love to. Those meets are just as competitive and the stakes are just as high. |

The Centennial Conference Championship (with #2 Haverford and #4 inson) was contested in 4 inches of snow the new 8k course at Big Spring Highschool in Newville, PA. I would be shocked if Haverford didn't repeat as D3 champs. They're dirty, plain and simple. I would bet on them against most D1 xc teams. Point is, everyone in the Northeast ran through snow, ice, mud and freezing rain. |
