I really appreciate the coverage, but on this video it becomes apparent that these announcers don't even know what a good time for a women's mile is! It is the equivalent of sub 3:55 for a guy - come on get a little more excited. I was fist pumping from my house for these ladies. |

great to see so many fast times this year, even on the women's side. Gotta say even though I hesitate to turn the dicussion from running itself, but Kate Flood is GORGEOUS. I've seen alot of female American disttance athletes develop weight issues and ruin their apperance along witht their running careers because they think super thin is the only way to compete on the world stage. Trust me when I say ladies that super thin is not the way to go. Especially for any race shorter than a 10K. Katie is both beautiful and an amazingly strong runner, I hope she stays that way. |
