"I went there, and got smashed". Just before NCAA XC championships in Terre Haute, Diego Estrada became an American citizen. Track season came, Diego hit the Olympic Standard, and the path looked clear the US Olympic Trials but suddenly their was communication between USATF officials and Estradas camp stating that he may be ineligible to compete. Amidst the confusion, the Mexican federation came forward and offered a spot on their Olympic squad. Come London Diego was drained by negativity from haters and was disappointed with his performance.

Childish joking around? high School? your right, flotrack dosent cover/broadcast live almost every single major college event, nor do they have interviews from the diamond league all across Europe. This is an insightful interview with an Olympian, that they went out to film. Aside from the actual broadcasting of Olympics / Olympic Trials, NCAAs what high level events are they missing out on? If they are not making an effort to be there its probably not important!

Flotrack on its way downhill 8 months ago

Sadly, Flotrack is turning into a bit of a joke. This used to be my go-to site with good coverages and analysis, but they have done two things recently that turn me off. First, a lot of coverage has simply become childish joking around. I'm fine with a little humor, but a lot of what is published here is terrible. Second, there has been a turn to covering more and more high school meets, which does not interest me in the least. This might be because Flotrack has found it harder to get the kind of access to big meets and marathons that it once had, but either way i'm not intErested in high school running. I miss the old Flotrack where quality coverage was delivered with a bite.

NO SWEAT BRO!!!!!!! Nobody is judging you. So what, you had a rough patch and the Olympics didn't go so well - move on to bigger and better things! Fu$#&K all those "citizenship" morons who gave you crap about your decision! It was your choice and if they didn't like it, then they can go and stick their heads in the toilet for a while to cool off! Run for yourself and be your own man! As you know, there are a lot of really good training groups out there right now that would love to have you on board and at the same time would respect your personal choices. Try something new for a change and see where it takes you. You are a smart and honest dude and people really like you! Best of luck!!!!!

flotrack isn't what it used to 9 months ago

Which one of you guys titled this video? False advertising! Diego was clearly frustrated when he said "I quit" to the olympic committee. You took his words out of context and plastered them on your site so people would watch your video. He said himself that he is going to work hard and get better over the next few years. Shame on flotrack.
