Elijah Greer sits in the back of the back in a Wheating-esque style and moves up calmly throughout the later stages of the race to run a very respectable 3:45 for the win. With 450m to go Greer is dead last, then closes in about 56 sec.

Why is sitting at the back smart? It wasn't a very hot pace at the start sooo why not hang out there? Case in point, Centrowitz raced from near the front of most tactical races (pretty succesfully) so he could kick from 2nd, rather than just be so much better than the rest of the field that he can toy with them.

If the pace was fast early I understand hanging back but just chilling when its easy? Giving yourself more chances to mess up.

Chad better be getting some more racing time after that performance!!!

No he was in basically last place with 450m to go...and ran a very very smart race

Phenomenally annoying video recording

No, he was definitely at the back with 450 to go. Its just that there is another guy who chose to wear spandex.

He wasn't exactly sitting in the back. In fact he was near the front for almost the entire race.
