he looked so easy!he will do it, I don't think he will run under 8.12 this year, but if he'll have the luck of staying healthy he'll do great things in steeplechase, he can be the new non african star and he can be very competitive on world stage

Would love to see him break the record and make the 2012 team.

8:08:82 is not an easy task

I was out the meet Evan looked great, and with his mile speed and 5K strength he could do some damage and get under 8:10. His hurdle form is great if he gets the water barrier down and gets in a fast race he could get an AR. He also inspired me to start doing steeple. Well see what I can do!

He is such a natural at this event.....I don't see any reason why he can't break the record.

I hope he reconsiders Payton Jordan.....would love to see him in that race.

Great Interview! 1 year ago

Evan is such a cool and level headed guy. He knows what he needs to do to make it really happen for him and I think that someday, he will own that US Steeple record for sure!

And....... if it all goes pear shaped, well then there is always the "Salon Plan"! Seriously, he could be like the Premiere Stylist to the Olympians or Stars. Keep that mop and he'll stay on top!
