M 1500 H01 (Chelimo solo 3:40, 2012 Raleigh Relays)
Paul Chelimo of UNC-Greensboro surprised the field, his coach and the fans with his solo 3:40 run in the 1500 at the 2012 Raleigh Relays. The time was a 6 second PR for Chelimo. Donn Cabral of Princeton finished second in 3:43. Unofficial Splits: 59 1:57 (58) 2:55 (58) 3:40 (45)
M 5k H01 (Mulherin 13:49, 2012 Raleigh Relays)
Princeton's Joe Stilin who ran 3:59/7:53 indoors (and didn't make the NCAA Champs), Soufiane Bouchikhi and 3x ACC 5k Champ Will Mulherin produce one of the most exciting races of the day at the the 2012 Raleigh Relays.

W 800 H01 (Mania 204.86 PR, 2012 Raleigh Relays)
Brigitte Mania of Connecticut sets her second PR of the weekend as she wins the 800 meters in 2:04.86, her first time under the 2:05 barrier. Yesterday Mania finished second in the 1500 behind her teammate Heather Wilson with a time of 4:22. Tasha Stanley of UNC also PR finishing a close second in 2:04.88. Wilson was third in 2:05.01, less than a half second off her PR.
Michael Hammond the 1500 guy after 14 sec 5k PR at 2012 Raleigh Relays
Michael Hammond of VT sets a 14 second PR in the 5k running 13:58 as he jumps up from his normal distance of 1500 meters. In 2011 Hammond missed making the final at the NCAA Outdoor Championships after finishing 7th indoors (PR of 3:58), however he bounced back at the US Championships to PR in 3:40 and make the 1500 meter final. Hammond, who was virtually unknown with the slowest PR of the field, is now a guy to look for!
Bershawn Jackson early Oly season and going pro at age 19
Bershawn Jackson, the 2005 World Champion at 400 hurdles, is looking to make the second Olympic Team of his career. Jackson has been a pro for 9 years after leaving college at the age of 19 to earn income for his family. We talk to Bershawn about coming off injuries in 2011 and if he would have choose a different path if he was 19 again. We'll see him open up the 400 hurdles next week in Gainesville at the Florida Relays.

Ronnie Ash opens 110H season at 2012 Raleigh Relays
Ronnie Ash has been dealing with injuries since last summer and has limited hurdle work under his belt at the start of the 2012 season. Still experiencing problems with his foot, Ash opens his season in the prelims at the 2012 Raleigh Relays with a 13.42. Ash is schedule to run the finals on Saturday, the first time testing back to back hurdle days in months. Regardless of injuries Ash is confident and ready to race the best in the world.
