Stay clear of Kenyans when racing (track or road) I swear, they trip up themselves and others all the time in races! They never look, they just cut in front and clip heels ALL the time. Watch what happens at aid stations during marathons ... same old!

Craig Virgin! Anybody remember Craig Virgin?

WHY CAN'T UNIVERSAL SPORTS SHOW THE ENTIRE RACE?!?!?! OR EVEN JUST PUT IT UP ONLINE AS THE FULL RACE?!?!!? THIS IS THE 21ST CENTURY I'M PRETTY SURE IT WOULDN'T BE HARD FOR THEM TO DO.

get the nostalgic feeling when the announcer says a great run for the American. I just love hearing that in race dominated by the Kenyans. These announcers are so much better than the NBC announcers.

I don't really understand why everyone thinks that everyone else is going to run the steeplechase as a result of all this Jager business. Sure, other steeplechase runners will realize that it's not just a filler event and work harder for their races, but I doubt many already fast non-steeplechase runners are going to say "I wanna be like Jager! I'm gonna switch to steeple!"

On the other hand, I can see new runners saying that. So maybe there will be an effect, but it won't be noticeable for a while.

hold up 10 months ago

yeah people will be inspired but its not going to work for everyone Jager is an athletic strong distance runne with 3:54 mile speed he's a beast and he's built perfect for steeple.

I predict other speedy US guys will follow Jager's lead and cross over to the steeple. Who's next?
