German Fernandez officially arrived on the professional scene on Sunday, running 3:34.60 to crush his personal best at the ISTAF Berlin meet. German talks about the shock of running the 1500 'A' standard and the altitude training he's been doing since joining Jerry Schumacher's group. Watch German's Race in Berlin here.

One thing I always like about German (most Latin Athletes) and is the way he gives a lot o Praise and Glory to those who helped (coaches and staff) along the way. Some of these runners/athletes on here never mention their coaches after their victory or a good performance, you rarely see that from Latin athletes. German should be proud of his performance, it was World Class - just like his character!

Race Vid just went up! He like had to run in lane 5 or 6 to get around most of those guys in the straight! At one point he was even in last place and then just kept moving up! Awesome effort! He could have been a bit more aggressive at the start but I think he was trying to figure out where he should be with that pace? Good finish!!!

WOW, THATS ONE SEXY MF'ER!!!! He can definitely take that one to the bank!!! 3:34 is SMOK'IN FAST!!!!!! Sounds like the training group is working really well to bring out the best in him. I sure hope he PB's next week in the 3k as well!
