Women's 60m
Who: Hannah Cunliffe, Deajah Stevens, Ariana Washington
When: Prelims start at 10:45 AM PT, Final round 12:30 PM PT
Why: The Oregon Ducks are returning some of the team's most talented female sprinters in Olympic finalist Deajah Stevens, NCAA champion and Olympian Ariana Washington and Pac-12 champion Hannah Cunliffe. Stevens peaked at the perfect time last season when she finished second in the 200m at the U.S. Olympic Trials. After earning a spot on her first Olympic team, Stevens went on to finish seventh overall in the final at the Olympic Games. Washington executed a breakout year last spring when she won the 100m and 200m at the NCAA championships. She was also an alternate on the Team USA 4x100m relay squad that won gold at the Olympic Games. Last year, Cunliffe broke out in her first season for the Ducks with a runner-up finish in the 60m and a third-place finish in the 200m at the NCAA Indoor Championships. Although she suffered a hamstring injury while running the 100m at the NCAA Outdoor Championships, Cunliffe is back and poised to be one of the top sprinters in the NCAA this year.
