After a scary collision that involved an official, pacer Pat McGregor and runner Michael Rimmer -- Josh Thompson would go on to win the Stanford Invite 1500m with a time of 3:41.80. Action was delayed and the official who was coherent was taken off on a stretcher, and taken to a local hospital to be checked out.
