Badchick:
If you are doing this same workout at the same speed, you are obviously going way too fast for interval training session since there is not a single woman in the world that can run a 4 flat for a mile and I highly doubt you are the world record holder.

this is not RAW for manzono. he is amazing, but this workout is kinda pathetic for him. im a girl n i do this same workout, minus the 800.

That workout is sick, 1 min recovery going 4min/mile pace?!RAW

looks like a tough workout. Doesn't seem like Jesus is all that impressive, though especially for a 17 year old.
1600 Meter Run - 4:44.32
3200 Meter Run - 10:32.18
5000 Meter Run - 16:32.00

For those who are wondering where Leo Manzano trained in Mexico, I can tell you that he did high altitude trainning in Nevado de Toluca a 15,000 ft peak above sea level. He ran along with German Silva a his team, as you remember Silva won the NYCM. I recommend you to visit the Nevado where you can find a 16mi trail to the peak. German Silva organizes twice a year (Feb. & Aug.) a high altitude trainning there.

Ya what is this song?

not mexican 3 years ago

I'm not from Mexico but i've been there for bussiness and pleasure a few times and the only polution i saw was around Mexico City. The rest of the country is not poluted at all. Guadalajara and Moterey are large cities and the air in both of them was clean when i visited there. So saying the Mexico is for most part poluted is a huge over statement.

Its Physiology 3 years ago

hey man most peeps dont understand the way we train as elites. They obviously dont realize that if Leo were to be at 3:35 shape all the time he would be injured SO much. He needs to let his body rest. get some good long miles, then shape all of that base into killer speed.

dang 3 years ago

I don't think Leo has ever looked that physically fit before

does anyone know when leo will open?

its physiology 3 years ago

leo has a high distribution of fast twitch muscle fiber. base training will convert that fast twitch muscle into what is known as "intermediate" type muscle fiber (not slow twitch). he should still have had a high degree of speed for those intervals. in my opinion, he just looked sluggish due to the recent transition from altitude, and this being the first workout of the year.
