Coach Larry "Wiz" Wieczorek of Iowa

Get to know Larry Wieczorek, Iowa's head men's coach. Coach Wiz has been a Hawkeye for many years having not only been the coach for 24 years (starting his 25th year this season), but also competed as an athlete. He ran against some of the greats including Gerry Lindgren and Jim Ryun. Coach Wiz talks about his time at Iowa, his decision to come to Iowa as an athlete, and coaching an athlete to break his own school record in the 5k.
