Congrats Steve!

I haven't always fully agreed with him, but I have always been big supporter. I felt his head was in the right place and that he would eventully make a meaningful contribution to the sport. Good luck and you will be a good addition to the OTC coaching staff. Hopefully this will also help you get some quality trainning in as well.

Good for you and congrad. on your Masters degree. You will help these athletes alot from your past experience with coaching styles and your running. I know you can help with exercise induced asthma and help build them up. You always have been professional and never put anyone down, great attitude. You had some great road races in Washington DC this year. Like your articles in Running Times Magazine also. Keep running and thanks for all you help from high schoolers to elites.

Great interview. Good luck to you . Congrats on your Masters degree also. With your experience, difficulty with exercised induced asthma, training background, training high schoolers to success and some elites you bring alot of common sense to the table. Your running background and the fact you still run is fantastic. You have always kept a positive attitude and never put others down, even when they deserved it. You had some real sucessful road races in DC this year- you deserve this job from all the hard work youve put in.

Steve is like a younger version of Dr. Jack Daniels. Very analytical. He also still runs. I raced against him this Thanksgiving in a 5 miler and he won the race in 25 minutes flat. He also coached some high school kids to success at the Texas state meet.
