After starting the season ranked #1 in the polls, Georgetown faced a few bumps along the road but is set to go for the championship season. The Hoyas are led by veterans Emily Infeld and Emily Jones but also have a strong core of freshmen and sophomores looking to be important contributors to the team.
The workout takes place at the Polo Fields in Washington, D.C., a picturesque location near some of the nation's most iconic sights.
Georgetown will next take part in the Big East Cross Country Championships in Lousville where they will face some of the best teams in the nation including Villanova, Providence and Syracuse.
Flotrack will be on hand for the Big East Championships, coverage can be found here:

Man you guys were right there by the FDR Memorial where I work with the National Park Service and you didn't stop by and say hi?! Wish I'd known you were going to be there. I see teams doing workouts on those fields all the time. Great piece as always! |

Love the idea of doing the longest/hardest part of the workout in the middle simulating the hardest part of a race. |
