Evan Jager pleased with 8:26 steeple debut at 2012 Mt. Sac Relays

In a much anticipated debut in the steeplechase, Evan Jager knocked it out of the park, winning the invitational section at Mt. Sac in a 'B' standard time of 8:26.14. Shortly after his race, Jager talks about how the steeple has been the plan for 2012 all along and discusses how his progression with barrier practice has gone. Look for him to race the steeple again next week at the Payton Jordan Cardinal Invitational.
