Emma Bates looks to contend for the win in Terre Haute

Another big win, another big boost. Emma Bates' win at the West Regional had two big firsts: (1) she was the first Boise State Bronco to to win an NCAA West Regional title and (2) this'll be her first trip to NCAA XC Nationals. This win plus her big finish at Pre-Nationals gives Bates the confidence to contend with anyone in the country. Come Terre Haute, there'll only be a few women left who can challenge the redshirt junior. Could she be the one to give Dartmouth's Abbey D'Agostino a run for her money?
