Notre Dame's Molly Seidel won the women's 10,000m in 33:18.37, upsetting defending champion Emma Bates of Boise State and Dom Scott of Arkansas. The race was very tactical up until a mile to go, when Bates suddenly darted to the front with a 66-second lap. However, the 2014 champion paid dearly for that move, fading all the way to 10th. Seidel was the beneficiary of Bates' move, slowly tracking her down until she was all alone in the last two laps. She ran the last 600m all by herself, crossing the line first in 33:18.37 with Scott second 33:25.81 and William & Mary's Emily Stites third in 33:26.15. RESULTS - All-Americans 1.
