The women's 3000m steeplechase at the 2015 NCAA Outdoor Championships was a thriller, with Florida State's Colleen Quigley winning her first NCAA Championship in 9:29.32, the No. 5 All-Time mark in NCAA history. She beat defending champion Leah O'Connor of Michigan State and regular season favorite Courtney Frerichs of UMKC.
