Our Methodology:

We used the formula from our weekly athlete power rankings, where every athlete is given a rating from 0.000 to 1.000 for each event. We then scored the event using their rating as their place. We did this for all events except for the two relays.

How we scored the relays:
The relays were scored on a subjective basis where we took into consideration 2016 time, teams that may not be fresh, and the quality of the anchor leg.
