Usain Bolt has pulled out of the Jamaican Trials due to a hamstring injury. The Jamaican Gleaner is reporting that Bolt complained about having to wait on the track longer than usual resulting in having to run the heat 'cold'.

Bolt released this statement on his Twitter.

Bolt is still eligibile to comepte at the Olympic Games via a medical exemption. The JAAA selection policy allows for athletes to apply for medical exemptions where the athlete has to prove he or she could not compete at the trials due to an injury.

After, Bolt confirmed that the treatment has already begun.
