After a successful freshman season, Roisin Willis has signed an NIL deal with New Balance. The Stanford star won the NCAA title in the 800m during the indoor season and finished fourth at the outdoor championships.

Willis has a best of 1:59.93 in the event and has already represented the United States at the World U20 Championships. 

“Excited to announce my NIL partnership with New Balance,” Willis posted on Instagram. 

“Grateful for this opportunity and to be a part of the NB family”

Willis is scheduled to run the 800m at this week’s USATF Outdoor Championships.

Willis joins Katelyn Tuohy and Parker Valby as current NCAA athletes with NIL deals with major shoe companies. 

Charles Hicks, also of Stanford, signed an NIL deal with Nike in March and joined the Nike-sponsored Bowerman Track Club at the end of the outdoor collegiate track season. 

Stanford’s athletic department is sponsored by Nike, which makes Willis’ deal unique.
