The World Athletics Championships features more than 2,000 athletes competing for gold in Budapest, Hungary from Aug. 19 to Aug. 27, and there are multiple ways to watch the meet. 

The meet comes nearly a month after the United States held its nationals championships in Oregon to help finalize the team’s roster, which features standouts like Sha’Carri Richardson. It won't, however,  have the defending Olympic and world champion in the 400m hurdles, Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone, who pulled out of the event due to a knee injury.

The team will also feature star men’s sprinters like Fred Kerley, the defending World champion, and Noah Lyles. Both are looking to make a mark in the 100m. 

The meet, which was held in Eugene, Oregon last year, features gold medalists from the Tokyo Olympics and will serve as a preview for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
