Who To Keep An Eye On at The 2024 Drake Relays

We are seeing some excellent talent lined up to attend this year's rendition of the relays.

Some notable names to keep an eye on in the Iowa high school divisions are Aidan Jacobsen, the Stanford recruit who currently leads the state in the 400m Hurdles; and Addi Dorenkamp, an Alabama recruit who leads the state in the 1,500m and 3,000m this spring.

On the collegiate level ,we have just as much talent and speed to look out for. Jenna Schwinghamer, a junior from Kentucky, is seeded at 2:03.96 in the 800m; Claire Fuhlhage, a senior from Illinois State, is seeded at 10:10.21 in the 3k steeplechase; Antonio Lay, the senior from Central Missouri and current No.4 in the Division 2 NCAA rankings, is seeded at a 10.07 100m dash.

Will Reemtsma, a senior from St. Ambrose, holds the current national lead of 51.93 in the 400m Hurdles for an NAIA athlete.

All in all each event has really good depth, and there are some exciting superstars to keep on the look out for.
