EUGENE -- The Arkansas women completed an unprecedented super sweep at the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Saturday, finishing first, second, third and fourth in the 400m women's final.

Nickisha Pryce crossed the line first and was followed by Kaylyn Brown, Amber Anning and Rosey Effiong.

Pryce's record time of 48.89 broke the collegiate record for the event, was the first under 49 seconds in NCAA History and also snapped the Jamaican national record of 49.30, which Lorraine Fenton recorded back in 2002.

Pryce also became the first Jamaican woman to run a sub-49-second 400m.

Pryce (SR), Effiong (JR), Brown (FR) and Amber Anning (SR) later went on to set the NCAA record in the women's 4x400 in 3:17.96, absolutely annihilating the former mark of 3:21.92 which they set at the NCAA West Regional.

The race was a catalyzing moment, as it pushed the Razborback women to the team title with 63 points overall.
