Grand Slam Track has announced the signing of Freddie Crittenden as a Racer for its 2025 season. An American hurdler, originally from St. Louis, Crittenden placed sixth in the 110m hurdles at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. Other top performances from Crittenden's pro career include a fourth-place finish in the 110m hurdles at the 2023 World Championships in Budapest and a first-place finish in the 60m hurdles at the 2023 USATF Indoor Championships.

"Joining Grand Slam Track is an incredibly exciting moment for me,” said Crittenden. “I'm proud of my accomplishments in this sport, but I'm always striving for more. With the launch of Grand Slam Track, I'm excited to compete against the best athletes in the world and showcase my skills on the biggest stage possible."

Crittenden competed collegiately at Syracuse University from 2013 - 2017, where he was a four-time All-American. In 2019, he won the silver medal in the 110m hurdles at the Pan American Games.

Crittenden trains in Phoenix with coach Tim O'Neil. He competed as an unsponsored athlete for the bulk of the 2024 season, before signing with Adidas in August.

What Is Grand Slam Track?

Grand Slam Track, created by four-time Olympic gold medalist Johnson, will feature four track events in Kingston, Miami, Philadelphia, and Los Angeles -- AKA Slams -- in 2025 where signed Racers and appearing Challengers will compete head-to-head in two events over the two-days Slams. Racers will receive base compensation for competing in each Slam and can earn additional prize money based on their performances.

96 total athletes -- 48 Racers and 48 Challengers -- will compete in each Slam. Grand Slam has a prize pot of $12.6 million and the Category winners of Slam will win $100,000.
