The results are trickling in for the 2025 NCAA Division I Track and Field Championships, and day one has turned up some interesting results for who will see Hayward Field for the final round on Friday.

Hosted in Eugene, Oregon, the championships began its four-day stretch on Wednesday with the semifinal rounds for the men's track events and the final rounds for the men's field events. For each individual event, the semifinal decides which 12 student-athletes and 12 relay teams will advance to Friday's finale.

One of the most prominent names in NCAA Division I men's track and field is Jordan Anthony, a wide receiver from Arkansas that has been able to not only make an impact on the football field for the Razorbacks, but on the track as well. Anthony ran the fastest time for the men's 100m sprint with a time of 9.75 seconds in the championship quarterfinal at the West Regional.

Heading into the championships, Anthony was tabbed the SEC Outdoor Runner of the Year after helping lead Arkansas to its fifth consecutive conference outdoor track and field title.

His large expectations were somewhat met on Wednesday, as Anthony qualified for the final round with a time of 10.06, landing in eighth place behind runners from Auburn, Tennessee, LSU and USC. He has yet to run in the 200m, where he clocked a time of 20.20 in the Heat 3 race during prelims, and will race with Arkansas in the 4x100m relay.
