Kitaguchi Strikes Late for the Win - 1:53p CT
Olympic and Diamond League champion Haruka Kitaguchi waited until the fifth round to make her move, launching a 64.63m throw to take the lead. Greece’s Elina Tzengko sees her winning streak snapped, and despite strong early throws, Adriana Vilagos can't respond. The top three holds through the final round as Kitaguchi claims victory.

Mena Owns the Curve, Takes the Win in 20.20 - 1:47p CT
No one attacked the curve like Basant Mena. His aggressive setup through the bend gave him the edge early, and he never looked back, holding form to the line for a commanding 20.20 win.

Women’s Steeplechase: Cherotich Controls, Clocks Meet Record - 1:38p CT
A steady opening kilometer in 3:04 set the tone, conservative, but enough to string things out. Early stumbles shook up the field, and by the final four laps, a lead group of four was pushing hard. The U.S. sat in fifth with work to do. With two laps to go, Cherotich stayed composed up front, dictating the pace. She surged out of the final water jump with control and momentum—less about footspeed, more about rhythm. Cherotich crossed in a meet record 9:02.60, with Winfred Yavi tight on her shoulder for second.

“You’re not beating me.” - 1:27p CT
Emmanuel Wanyonyi unleashes a far-out ferocious kick to win in 1:42.78. A different style of race, but no problem for the Kenyan star, he proves he can handle a hot pace just as well.

Men’s 800m Lining Up - 1:25p CT
The field is set on the start line, but Great Britain’s Max Burgin will not start (DNS).

Jaeger Sets Norwegian 400m Record in Thrilling Finish - 1:12p CT
What a thrilling start on the track in Oslo. Hometown favorite Henriette Jaeger stormed out with intent, pushing the pace in search of her first Diamond League victory. Though the USA’s Isabella Whittaker closed strong to edge her at the line, Jaeger’s gutsy dive secured a new Norwegian record of 49.62.

"The energy here is unmatched - its really cool to be in a city where people love track and field" - Whittaker, Athlete's Lounge

DOMINANT DIAMOND LEAGUE DEBUT

We’re underway in Oslo! - 12:25 CT
Leyanis Pérez-Hernández opened the women’s triple jump, but it’s Shanieka Ricketts who records the first mark on the board with 14.05m. Men’s pole vault is about to begin

About The Diamond League

The invitation-only Diamond League brings together the most elite track & field athletes to showcase their skills, earn prize money, collect points toward the season-ending championship event and ultimately elevate the status of athletics across the globe.

Traditionally, Diamond League competition includes a slate of 16 disciplines, though not every meet features all of them.

Points accumulated during the first 14 events of the season determine the athletes who advance to the final event, where they compete for more prize money and Diamond League titles.

The 2025 season marks FloTrack’s first year as the streaming home of the Diamond League for audiences in the United States and its territories (with the exception of any events being held in the United States).
