These Athletes Can Still Qualify For The Worlds Through The Diamond League
A number of US athletes still have a road to the 2025 World Athletics Championships, through the 2025 Wanda Diamond League.

With the world championships looming and the 2025 USATF Championships in the rearview, a number of US athletes have a very particular road to the 2025 World Athletics Championships. That path runs through the Wanda Diamond League and it starts with Lausanne this Saturday, August 16.
In order to qualify for the World Championship meet, athletes who do not already have a spot can earn one by winning the Diamond League final in Zurich later this month. This is the one of the very few avenues for Team USA athletes to earn a bid if they haven't already.
