2026 Austin Marathon Event Schedule

6:55 AM – Wheelchair Start (Full & Half)
7:00 AM – Elite Start (Marathon & Half Marathon)

Waves A–D stage in place starting at 6:00 AM. All runners must be in the corral by 6:55 AM for a 7:00 AM start. All marathon (26.2) runners must start in Waves A–D to avoid course closures.

7:00 AM – Wave A Start (Marathon & Half Marathon)
7:00 AM – Wave B Start (Marathon & Half Marathon)
7:00 AM – Wave C Start (Marathon & Half Marathon)
7:00 AM – Wave D Start (Marathon & Half Marathon)

Waves E–L start on a rolling basis. Plan to be staged 5 minutes before the listed time.

Approx. 7:09 AM – Wave E Start (Half Marathon)
Approx. 7:17 AM – Wave F Start (Half Marathon)
Approx. 7:25 AM – Wave G Start (Half Marathon)
Approx. 7:33 AM – Wave H Start (Half Marathon)
Approx. 7:41 AM – Wave I Start (Half Marathon)
Approx. 7:49 AM – Wave J Start (Half Marathon)
Approx. 7:57 AM – Wave K Start (Half Marathon)
Approx. 8:05 AM – Wave L Start (Half Marathon)

Approx. 8:35 AM – Wheelchair Start (5K)
8:30 AM – Finish Line Festival Opens
Approx. 8:40 AM – 5K Start

12:30 PM – Half Marathon Course Closes
2:20 PM – Full Marathon Course Closes
