When Are 200 Meter Finals At 2025 World Track & Field Championships
The 2025 World Track & Field Championships start on Sept. 13. Here's when the 200 Meter Finals will take place for the men's and women's divisons.
The World Track and Field Championships are underway in Tokyo, Japan and with competition spanning nine days, there is an event for everyone.

The 200 Meter finals will be an event to watch in both the men’s and women’s divisions. With so many athletes competing in the total span of of the 200 Meter competition, the best-of-the-best will be competing for the elite title of World Champion.
In the Men’s Division, American runner Noah Lyles tops the entry list with a time of 19.63. Behind Lyles, fellow Team USA runner Kenneth Bednarek holds the second spot with a 19.67, just four-hundredths of a second behind Lyles.
In the Women’s Division, Saint Lucian runner Julien Alfred tops the entry list running a 21.71. US runner Melissa Jefferson-Wooden is close behind running a 21.84.
United States coverage of the 200 Meter finals for the 2025 World Track & Field Championships will begin promptly at 9:06 a.m. ET for the men’s and 9:22 a.m. ET for the women.
