The 2026 NCAA D2 Track & Field Indoor National Championships kicked off on Mar. 13.
As the action got underway in Virginia Beach, VA., the top athletes in the country flocked to compete one final time before the outdoor season fully gets underway.

With Grand Valley State leading the way in the men's division after the opening day and Pittsburg State leading the way in the women's, the men's Heptathlon highlighted the opening day of competition.
The women's pentathlon will take place in the morning of Mar. 14, but there are plenty of results to note from the first day of action from Virginia Beach.
