Michael Kish continued to be among the biggest stars of the early days of the Penn Relays meet when the 75-year-old sprinter once again stole the show in the Masters men's 100m race on April 23 at Franklin Field.

Kish has dominated the Penn Relays before, but today at the 130th edition of one of the oldest track meets in the world, he once again blazed a trail in the 100m. Two years after running 13.32 in the 100m, he ran 13.27 on Thursday.

The 130th Penn Relays, celebrating with America250, launched Thursday with Masters and high school athletes in the morning and will end with college runners. But it was a former teacher, who spent 38 years in special education, who has become a mainstay on Day 1 of the Penn Relays.
