In a day that kicked off with the Masters events on track and the women's discus in the field, the competition was already top notch in the early afternoon segments. Valarie Sion claimed the discus title to kick off the scoring and champion crowning in New York.
As the action shifted back to the track, it was all eyes on Melissa Jefferson-Wooden and Garrett Kaalund in the 200m run. Both of these athletes claimed the gold and walked away from NY a champion.
Cordell Tinch wrapped up the weekend of action in New York with a title in the 110 meter hurdles.
