THE DRAKE RELAYS PARTNERS WITH FLOTRACK TO PROVIDE ONLINE  VIDEO COVERAGE OF THE 2010 DRAKE RELAYS

 

DES MOINES – The Drake Relays is partnering with Flotrack to provide comprehensive video coverage of the 2010 event. The Drake Relays will take place on April 22-24th, at The Drake Stadium at Drake University. The Drake Relays is one of the oldest and most attended track and field competitions in the United States, beginning in 1910. Thousands of fans and competitors will compete over the three day event, with Olympians, Highschool State Champions, and Collegiate teams in attendance.

Flotrack will provide coverage of the competition, interviews with athletes, and archived video on www.flotrack.org during April 22-24th. Flotrack, based out of Austin TX, is the leading online media source for track and field and the sport of running. Flotrack is part of Flocasts, an online sports media and technology company specializing in online video technology.

In addition to the Relays, Flotrack will broadcast the Grand Blue Mile Street Mile taking place on April 20th. The Grand Blue Mile will award $6,500 in prize money and be hosted by Olympians Suzy Favor-Hamilton and Steve Scott.
