Here’s a sneak peak at Saucony’s new sprint spike called the Showdown. This spike features an all new 10-pin Pebax® plate specifically designed for the torque and power that sprinters generate. The upper is a combination of two layers. The outer layer is made from a supple microfiber synthetic that securely locks the foot in place, while the inner sleeve and lacing allows for a more comfortable and customizable fit. The boys in Lexington tell me they’ve sampled a bunch of colorways for Wallace Spearmon Jr. and Lauryn Williams, so make sure to check them out on the track to see what they’ll wear next.
