Demps' record stands another year. Bracy dominated the race, but fell short of the record in 10.26. Still, a terrific effort and 2011 best.From earlier today:
Prep standout Marvin Bracy, the current National leader in the 100, enters the Florida Relays with a shot at Jeff Demps' meet record.
Demps, currently a track and football star at the University of Florida, blazed a 10.17 at the 2008 edition of the Florida Relays (watch video here).
Bracy has to believe that he has a shot at the mark, having run a 10.19 at the Florida State meet last year (video above), and owning the nation's top mark this year with a 10.28.
